ASHBURN OFFICERS GRADUATE FROM ABAC POLICE ACADEMY

TIFTON—Daniel A. Ray and Jared M. York of the Ashburn Police Department were among 14 individuals who recently received certificates at graduation exercises for the 226th session of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) Regional Police Academy at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Ray tied for second place in the Firearms competition.

The South Georgia Police Academy regularly holds multi-week intensive training sessions designed to acquaint officers with state-of-the-art law enforcement techniques. The Academy operates in cooperation with the Division of Social Science at ABAC.
