Big Match Against Darton Monday

The women’s soccer team at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will try to extend its winning streak to five in a row Monday against the always powerful Darton Lady Cavaliers.

Coach Jimmy Ballenger’s Fillies knocked off Andrew College 7-0 on Wednesday for their fourth straight victory en route to a best ever 12-3 overall record.  ABAC opened the season with seven consecutive wins.

The Fillies lost to Darton 6-0 in a match in Albany on Sept. 16. ABAC’s only other losses this season were to Middle Georgia by a 4-3 margin and Young Harris by a 2-0 score.

Monday’s match is the final home appearance for the Fillies during the regular season. ABAC goes on the road for its final two games against Georgia Military on Oct. 17 and Middle Georgia on Oct. 21.  Kick time for Monday’s game is 4 p.m. at the ABAC soccer field.
