Ag Classic Winners Named
TIFTON - The 2008 ABAC Ag Classic at
the Forest Lakes Golf Club turned out to be a huge success with thousands of
dollars raised for scholarships for students in the Division of Agriculture and
Forest Resources at
Top finishers in the morning flight were First Place, Irwin EMC, Tony Tucker, Randy Crenshaw, Ronnie Blackstock, and Mike Lewis; Second Place, AgGeorgia Farm Credit, Michael Tankersley, James Mock, Corey Cottle, and John Peters; Third Place, Lenox Ag, Craig Snyder, Greg Brezina, Chad Griffin, Robert Brass; Closest to the Pin, Chad Griffin, Lenox Ag; Longest Drive, Tim Kight, AgGeorgia Farm Credit.
Top finishers in the afternoon flight were First Place, BASF Sparks, Ron Mathis, Scott Johns, Richard Boothe, and Kyle Clark; Second Place, Josh Melhorn, Chris Hall, Clay Brannon, and Kirk Holt; Third Place, Kelley Manufacturing, Billy Haynes, Brent Harris, Jimmy Tomberlin, and Bennie Branch; Closest to the Hole, Lucas Hill, Tyson Foods; Longest Drive, Tom Hamilton, Cal-Maine Foods.
The tournament was sponsored by the Ag Alumni Association at ABAC.
