Director John Galyean said the play by John Cariani is a quirky, romantic
comedy whose setting is a village in north central
The play takes place on one magical night in midwinter at 9 p.m. Mixing blue-collar realism with imagination and fantasy, the play deals with several couples who find themselves falling in and out of love, as well as finding out hilarious if not profound things about themselves and life in general.
“Think Northern Exposure meets Moonstruck,” Galyean said.

The cast includes ABAC faculty members Brian Ray and Jeff Newberry as well as ABAC alumnus Russell Taylor. Student cast members include Kym Stephens, Keith Lee, Michelle North, Caitlin Davis, Stephanie Mathis, and Rachel Green. Kati Wheeler serves as Assistant Director/Stage Manager.
