101 CLASS BEGINS JULY 28 AT ABAC
TIFTON—A Football 101 class will be offered
on the campus of
The class will be held July 28 – Aug. 4 from
6 – 8 p.m. in the Ag Sciences building, Room 139. There is a fee of $29 for this
class.
This course will provide insight and
instruction to anyone who would like to gain a better grasp of football through
discussion of the basic rules, the history of football in this area, and the
use of football-related terms.
Chris Beckham, who hosts a morning radio show
on WTIF as well as several other football and sports-related radio shows, will
teach the class.
“It’s really designed for anyone who has
maybe a little knowledge of football or no concept of it whatsoever,” Beckham
said. “It’s not limited to females but I
think we will probably have some wives in the class whose husbands love
football, and they want to know a little more about it.
“I think it would be great if couples
attended the class together then they could go home and sit down and watch the
games together.”
