PELHAM OFFICER GRADUATES FROM ABAC POLICE ACADEMY

TIFTON— Matthew B. Miller of the Pelham Police Department was among 18 individuals who recently received certificates at graduation exercises for the 228th session of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) Regional Police Academy at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Miller received the Overall Achievement award for the 228th session. He also earned first place in Firearms.

The Police Academy regularly holds multi-week intensive training sessions designed to acquaint officers with state-of-the-art law enforcement techniques. The Academy operates in cooperation with the Division of Social Science at ABAC.
