ABAC OFFERS SPANISH CLASSES THIS FALL

TIFTON—A variety of Spanish classes will be offered this fall through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.  Pre-registration is required.

A Beginning Spanish class will be taught on Sept. 9 – 23 from 6 – 8 p.m. in Conger Hall, Room 325. There is a fee of $99 (plus text). This class is approved for one Professional Learning Unit (PLU). In this class, participants will learn basic vocabulary, grammar, phrases, and sentence structure. No prior knowledge of Spanish is necessary.

An Intermediate Spanish class will take place on Sept. 25 – Oct. 9 from 6 - 8 p.m. in Conger Hall, Room 325. A prerequisite of Beginning Spanish is required. The fee is $69 (plus text). This class is eligible for one PLU. This class will help participants in the proficiency of reading, speaking, and understanding Spanish while expanding the ability to communicate effectively.

A Conversational Spanish class will be held on Oct. 30 – Nov. 18 from 6 – 8 p.m. in Bowen Hall, Room 209. Prerequisites are completion of both Beginning and Intermediate Spanish classes. This class is approved for one PLU. Participants will write and speak Spanish in class. There is a fee of $69. In this class, students will learn basic grammar and vocabulary used in everyday situations.
