NEESES RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP AT ABAC

TIFTON—Andrew B. Shumpert of Neeses, S.C., was awarded a scholarship at the recent Honors Day ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

The award, provided through the ABAC Foundation, was based on a number of criteria such as leadership ability, character, academic excellence, and financial need.

Shumpert, a forest resources transfer major, received a $500 Vernon Yow Forestry Scholarship.
