WHIGHAM RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS AT ABAC

TIFTON—Richard W. Irvin of Whigham was awarded two scholarships at the recent Honors Day ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

 The awards, provided through the ABAC Foundation, were based on a number of criteria such as leadership ability, character, academic excellence, and financial need.

Irvin, a turfgrass and golf course management major, received a $2,500 James and Joyce Kirk Scholarship and a $1,000 Dr. Mike Bader Memorial Scholarship.
