ABAC SATURDAY AFTERNOON HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES MOVED TO GRESSETTE GYM

 

TIFTON –Saturday afternoon activities scheduled at Lake Baldwin during the 2008 Centennial Celebration Homecoming at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College have been moved to Gressette Gym on the ABAC campus.

 Alumni Director Nancy Coleman said the threat of rainy weather prompted the move of the 4-6 p.m. reunion groups and children's activities as well as the 6 p.m. picnic and 7 p.m. Jukebox Saturday Night song and dance show featuring music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. The Saturday fireworks show over Lake Baldwin will go on but has been moved to 9 p.m.  There is no charge for any of the activities except for the picnic dinner.

The Saturday activities cap off a weekend of events including a 100th birthday luncheon in Gressette at noon on Saturday. For more information on Homecoming, interested persons can contact the alumni office at (229) 391-4900.
