OCILLA RESIDENTS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS AT ABAC

TIFTON—Abby R. Boazman, Kentoria D. Daniels, Ashley N. Moore, Linsey R. Johnson, and Melanie M. Scruggs of Ocilla were awarded scholarships at the recent Honors Day ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

The awards, provided through the ABAC Foundation, were based on a number of criteria such as leadership ability, character, academic excellence, and financial need.

Boazman, an early childhood education major; Moore, a psychology major; and Scruggs, a nursing transfer major, each received a $1,500 Allan and Lelia J. Garden Scholarship.

Daniels, a psychology major, received a $1,200 Allan and Lelia J. Garden Scholarship. Johnson, a family and consumer sciences transfer major, received a $1,500 Family & Consumer Sciences Scholarship.
