DOUGLASVILLE RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP AT ABAC

TIFTON—Raisa C. Bates of Douglasville was awarded a scholarship at the recent Honors Day ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

The award, provided through the ABAC Foundation, was based on a number of criteria such as leadership ability, character, academic excellence, and financial need.

Bates, a nursing transfer major, received a $1,000 Shirley C. Hutchinson Memorial Scholarship.
