DOUGLAS RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP AT ABAC

TIFTON—Gustavo Tovar-Banda of Douglas was awarded a scholarship at the recent Honors Day ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

The award, provided through the ABAC Foundation, was based on a number of criteria such as leadership ability, character, academic excellence, and financial need.

Tovar-Banda, a computer science major, received a $3,200 Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund Scholarship.
