FRESHMEN WILL BE FIRST ABAC
TIFTON – The freshman class of 2007 will
experience something completely different at
Student suites for
ABAC Lakeside, the 489-bed complex on the north shore of
The suites include a bathroom and kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Common rooms and a convenience store are also located in the building.
Sophomores can stay
at the 835-bed
All first year students at ABAC must live on campus unless they are living with and commuting daily from the legal residence of a parent, legal guardian, or grandparent within 50 miles of Tifton. Other exceptions to the rule exempt students if they are married, a single parent, 21 years of age prior to Sept. 1, or they have attended another college for a minimum of two semesters.
Anyone living on
campus must also purchase a meal plan in the Donaldson Dining Hall each
semester. Freshmen living on campus must
purchase a meal plan with a minimum cost of $975. Sophomores living on campus at
The meal plan can be used at the dining hall
and the
Fall semester classes at ABAC begin Aug. 20.
