IMMEDIATE JUNE 28, 2007 FALL TERM ORIENTATION JULY 6 AT ABAC

TIFTON- Registration and orientation for students enrolling at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College for the fall term will take place on July 6. There is an orientation fee of $30, and pre-registration is encouraged. Fall term classes begin Aug. 20.

ABAC offers 222 classes for the fall term including courses in accounting, business administration, nursing, computer sciences, English, agriculture, mathematics, psychology, Spanish, and more.

“Orientation is an important time for students to get the classes they need and meet with their advisors,” said Ali Csinos, Coordinator of Student Recruitment.

Activities during this orientation will include tours of the campus, a guide to registering for classes, a Focus on Your Major session, and the actual class registration.

Current students who have pre-registered for the fall term must have all fees paid by Aug. 8. Those who need assistance paying for their college education can still apply for financial aid by contacting the Financial Aid Office at (229) 391-4910.
