Suzanne and Joseph Hopkins

FIRST TUESDAY CONCERT AT ABAC FEBRUARY 6

TIFTON – The First Tuesday Concert at Abraham Baldwin College on Feb. 6 will feature baritone Joseph Hopkins and his wife, soprano Suzanne Hopkins. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of All Faiths. The accompanist will be Gina Lawhon on piano.

Tickets for the performance may be purchased at the door. The cost is $3 for adults and $1 for students. ABAC students are admitted free with ID. Patrons of the Arts and Entertainment Series can also attend at no charge. This is a Stafford Fine Arts event.

The Hopkins will perform classics from Giacomo Rossini, Giacomo Puccini, and Gioachino Rossini. They will also sing spiritual hymns including Victory In Jesus Medley, Great Is Thy Faithfulness, He’s Got The Whole World in His Hands and How Deep The Father’s Love For Us.

The First Tuesday Concert Series takes place on the first Tuesday of each month. Dr. Susan Roe, assistant professor of voice at ABAC, coordinates the series. For more information, contact Roe at (229) 391-4943.
