Turelle Jones plays great defense for the Fillies of ABAC
JONES HOPES FOR CAREER IN WNBA, PSYCHOLOGY
TIFTON – Sophomore psychology major Turelle
Jones has played basketball since she was in middle school so it’s not
surprising that she is a member of the Abraham Baldwin College Fillies’
basketball team.
“I chose to go to school at ABAC because it’s a
good school and my brother and sister went here,” Jones said.
A graduate of
“Being on
the team is fun,” Jones said. “We are all one big family.”
Between school and basketball, Jones is constantly
busy. In her free time she likes to listen to music, play on the computer, and
watch TV.
Jones will graduate from ABAC in the summer of
2007 with an associate’s degree in psychology.
“I hope to
attend the
Ten years from now, Jones would like to be playing
professional basketball and have a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
She is the daughter of Neil and Veronica Jones and
has one brother, Neil Jr., and one sister,
