SPRING MUSIC RECITAL AT ABAC APRIL 24-25

 

            TIFTONTwenty of Abraham Baldwin College’s music majors will perform at the annual Spring Music Recital on April 24 and 25 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of All Faiths. The performance is free to anyone who would like to attend.

            The recitals will feature a diversity of styles in performance ranging from voices to hand-held and upright instruments.     The performance on April 24 will feature ABAC 2007 Music Honor Awards recipient, Meg Vinnacombe, soprano. Other performers are Harry King, baritone;  Meagan Royal, mezzo-soprano; Tyler Yawn,  bass-baritoneDavid Durden, classical guitar; Arthur Adkins, tuba; Mark Cunningham, tenor; Chandler Hill, trombone; Jasmine Richardson, soprano; and Brandon Rutland, alto saxophone.

            Recital participants for the April 25 performance will showcase Kayla Wise, soprano; Christi Swain, alto; Michael Hamilton, tenor; Savannah Rogers, mezzo-soprano; Josh Harrell , tenor; Joshua Taylor, guitar; Jonathan Thomas, percussionist; Lucy Taylor, baritone saxophone; Trent Lumpkin, double bass; and Stephanie Hunt, clarinet.
