ABAC TURF CLUB SPONSERS BASKETBALL SHOOTOUT APRIL 24

 

            TIFTON—March Madness is over but the basketball fever continues at Gressette Gym on the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College campus on April 24 at 7 p.m. when the ABAC Turf Club sponsors the Relay For Life Basketball Shootout.

            Competitors in five different age divisions will shoot for prizes in the slam dunk contest, the free throw contest, the three-point contest and the hot shot contest.   The cost to enter is $10 for the slam dunk competition, and $5 for the others.  All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

            Age divisions are 12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-40, and 41 and up.  All competitors can sign up at the gym on the night of the event.   For more information, contact Jake Purvis with the ABAC Turf Club at (229) 560-7986.

            The winner of the slam dunk contest will receive a $50 Wal-Mart gift card.
