HOWARD LIKES FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE, HOMETOWN FEEL OF ABAC
TIFTON – When Ben Howard, a pre-dentistry major from Sycamore, was deciding on where to go to college, his choice had already been made.
“I didn’t want to
leave my hometown just yet, so I decided on
Howard has always been interested in the field of dentistry. “The first thing I notice about a person is their teeth. I guess that is why I decided to major in pre-dentistry at ABAC.”
At ABAC, Howard is active in the ABAC Ambassadors, College Republicans, the Student Government Association (SGA), Assisting Students with Knowledge (ASK) Club, the College Activities Board (CAB), and the Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM).
The Ambassadors assist the offices of public relations and admissions, representing and promoting the college at a variety of community and college events. They work to maintain positive relationships between students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community.
His hobbies include reading, spending time with family and friends, and just having fun.
After graduating
from ABAC, Howard plans to attend the
Howard said that after dental school he would like to establish a practice. “I hope to have a practice as an orthodontist focusing on pediatrics,” he said.
He is the son of Dr. Drew Howard and Dr. Kaylar Howard.
