A special
orientation session will be held in June prior to all other freshmen
orientation sessions for those prospective students who meet the deadline.
Prospective students must have completed an application with the application fee, high school transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, medical history form, and any placement testing results by March 1 in order to attend this invitation-only session. Those who meet these qualifications will receive the invitation in the mail.
Ali Kilby, Coordinator of Student Recruitment, said, “The benefit of this registration session is that you get everything taken care of three months before everyone else. Students also have more one-on-one time with advisors and get first pick of the classes they will need. We encourage all graduating seniors to take advantage of this opportunity.”
Students can also talk to housing and financial aid representatives to lease an apartment and have funds in place for the 2005 fall term that begins Aug. 22.
