ABAC ORIENTATIONS IN TIFTON, MOULTRIE BEGIN AUGUST 15

TIFTON—Three orientation sessions for the fall term at Abraham Baldwin College begin Aug. 15.

The evening orientation session for the Tifton campus is on Aug. 15 from 4 – 9 p.m. in the Ag Sciences building. ABAC offers 48 different classes for this fall’s evening curriculum.

On Aug. 16, ABAC on the Square in Moultrie will hold its registration and orientation session beginning at 4 p.m. ABAC on the Square offers 51 classes for the fall term.

An orientation on Aug. 18 is scheduled for all entering freshmen attending ABAC in the fall. There is an orientation fee of $30, and pre-registration is encouraged. Students who have not paid the orientation fee must be at the J. Lamar Branch Student Center at 8:30 a.m. Those who have already paid can report at 9:30 a.m.

Registration for other new and returning students will take place on Aug. 19 beginning at 9 a.m. This applies to all returning students who did not pre-register in spring, new students needing to register, and students who have to take placement tests on Aug. 18.

All first-time entering freshmen must attend one of the orientation sessions. This is the final round of orientation sessions for the fall term. Classes at ABAC begin Aug. 22.

Students who need assistance paying for their college education can still apply for financial aid. The fee payment deadline for those students who have already registered for the fall semester is Aug. 10.
