TWENTY-ONE GRADUATE FROM 202nd
TIFTON—Twenty-one
individuals from the South Georgia area recently received certificates at
graduation exercises for the 202nd Session of the South Georgia Police Academy
Basic Mandate Class at
Academy Director Ray Saxon said that Jason A. Allen of the Dougherty County Police Department was the recipient of the Overall Achievement Award. Leonard C. Dunston of the Tifton Police Department earned first place in Academic Achievement. Second place went to Melissa L. McCulley of the Tifton Police Department.
First place for Firearms went to John C. Clifton of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. Second place in Firearms was received by James M. Prothro of the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office. Joe N. Henry, Jr. of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office was president of the session.
Other graduates included Adam R. Bembry, William J. Ehlert, and Tracie Y. Shedrick of the Dougherty County Police Department; and Claude M. Cook, III, Charles P. Pheil, Phillip E. Ritchey, and Kevin S. Stokes of the Cordele Police Department.
