ABAC MUSIC STUDENTS AND FACULTY TO PERFORM MARCH 1

TIFTON— The First Tuesday Performance Series at Abraham Baldwin College on March 1 will feature ABAC students and faculty musicians.

The performance will begin at 7 p.m. in ABAC’s Chapel of All Faiths. The cost is $3 for adults and $1 for students. Those performing for this event are the ABAC Saxophone Quartet, Jazz Choir, and Brass Quintet.

The performance will consist of a variety of musical selections.

The ABAC Saxophone Quartet will perform Three Shades of Blue arranged by Paul Nagle, and Just A Closer Walk With Thee arranged by Jack Gale.

ABAC’s Jazz Choir will swing into gear with Swingin’ at Basie’s Place by Kirby Shaw and the Broadway hit And All That Jazz from the musical, “Chicago”.

The Brass Quintet will play Air and Allegro from “King Arthur”, Serenade in G by Mozart, and Washington Post March by John Philip Sousa.
