ABAC STUDENTS AWARDED FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
TIFTON - Ten students from across south
Georgia were awarded ABAC Foundation Scholarships for the 2005-06 academic year
through the Foundation Scholars Program at
The program provides scholarships to the top three honor graduates from eight local counties: Ben Hill, Berrien, Colquitt, Cook, Irwin, Tift, Turner, and Worth. The scholarships cover tuition and fees for two semesters of full-time enrollment provided the students maintain a 3.0 grade point average each semester. They are funded by the ABAC Foundation.
Students who received Foundation Scholarships included Jeri Anna Guthrie from Adel, fourth honor graduate from Cook High School; Ashley Stewart from Alapaha, third honor graduate and Melanie Nichols of Tifton, fourth honor graduate, both from Berrien County High School; and Perry Greer and Ashli Wilson of Ocilla, third and fourth honor graduates of Irwin County High School.
