ANDERSON
NAMED NEW STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES DIRECTOR
TIFTON—Marsha Anderson is the new Director of
the Office of Student Support Services at Abraham Baldwin
College.
Employed with the
college since 1991, Anderson
served as a Minority Admissions Counselor, Senior Secretary, and Residence Hall
Director from 1991 – 1993. She then became a Transfer Specialist for Student
Support Services from 1993 - present, as well as serving as Minority Advising
Program Coordinator from 1995 – present.
Anderson was also Interim Director of the
MAP/TRIO/Learning Disabilities Services from August 2000 to June 2001, and
November 2002 to June 2003. Prior to assuming her new position, she served as Administrative
Coordinator for MAP/TRIO/ Learning Disabilities Services.
Anderson attended ABAC, majoring in Social
Work, before transferring to Georgia Southern University to earn a Bachelor of
Science degree in Sociology. She obtained her Master of Science degree in
Sociology with a minor in Social Work from Valdosta State
University.
