ABAC TENNIS PLAYERS PLACE AT FLORIDA TOURNAMENT

Three of ABAC’s tennis players recently competed in Ft. Myers, Fla., at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Small College Championship and came home with solid standings by the end of the event.

The sophomores placed in the top three of the competition in each division. Justin Pickham received third place in the men’s division and teammate Florencia Torres of the Fillies’ received third place in the women’s division of the competition. Nikola Prpic and Pickham won second place in the men’s double division.

The tennis teams finish practice on Oct. 28 and are now wrapping up challenge matches that will establish a ladder of positions this spring. For more information on the tennis program go to the ABAC website at www.abac.edu/pe/.
