TWENTY-THREE GRADUATE FROM 198TH
TIFTON—Twenty-three
individuals from the South Georgia area recently received certificates at
graduation exercises for the 198th Session of the South Georgia Police Academy
Basic Mandate Class at
Academy Director Ray Saxon said that Kent L. Coe of the Albany Police Department received the Overall Achievement Award for the 198th session. The Academic Achievement Award went to Matthew H. Holloway from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, with a tie for second place between Barry J. Josey of the Miller County Sheriff’s Office and Archie L. Tabor, III, of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. Tabor also served as the president of the session.
The Firearms award went to James T. Pippin of the Valdosta Police Department. Arick J. Furr of the Albany Police Department finished second.
