BEEBE NAMED DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT

TIFTON—Nina Beebe is the new Director of Procurement at Abraham Baldwin College.

Beebe is a Certified Professional Public Buyer through the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council. She worked in the purchasing office of Valdosta State University for 13 years. She also worked for George Wynn, Attorney at Law, in Lakeland for a year.

“I heard about the position through Margaret (Brogdon),” Beebe said. “VSU has just gotten too large for my liking. I like that ABAC is a smaller college, and the atmosphere is family-oriented and friendly.”

            Beebe replaces Brogdon, who is now serving as Director of Development for Valdosta Technical College.
