SPRING TERM CLASSES OFFERED AT ABAC IN THE PARK

 

            TIFTON- Spring classes will begin at ABAC in the Park, an extension of Abraham Baldwin College, on Jan. 10. Classes will be held at the Worth County Governmental building.

Classes scheduled to be held are English 1102 on Tuesdays from 6:30 – 9:15 p.m.  and History 2112 Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 – 6:15 p.m.

Kay Powell, Interim Director of the Evening and Off Campus Program, said, “These classes are perfect for ABAC in the Park because they are needed for a variety of majors. The classes will be beneficial to a wide range of students.” 

Continuing education classes scheduled for the spring term include Spanish for Educators on Thursdays, Feb. 3 – March 3, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.; Spanish for Healthcare Professionals on Tuesday and Thursday, March 8 - 17, from 6 – 8:30 p.m.; and Defensive Driving on April 9 from 8:45 a.m. – 4 p.m.  For more information, please contact the Public Service & Business Outreach Center at (229) 391-5070.
