TIFTON--ABAC Place Apartments, the newest housing located on the campus of Abraham Baldwin College, has partnered with WebRoomz, a provider of web-based housing management solutions, to allow students to reserve their rooms and select roommates online. Currently, residents are using the system to apply online. Beginning this month, students will be able to use the system to handle all aspects of their leasing.
“I really like the WebRoomz concept,” ABAC President Mike Vollmer said. “Our students are spending more and more time online. I think they’ll love chatting with their future roommates.”
Since 2001, WebRoomz has been providing unique housing management solutions for higher education. Similar to Internet airline reservations, after students complete the room and roommate selection process, they receive immediate reservation confirmation. WebRoomz is changing students’ residential experience by allowing them more decision-making power with their housing choices.
Dana Dennis, Vice President of Property Management for Place Properties, said “We are looking forward to the improvements that WebRoomz will bring to our communities and our staff. Our management team is committed to providing the best service possible--WebRoomz will take us to the next level.”
