TCHS STUDENT RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP

Eve Copeland of Tifton was recently awarded an ABAC Staff Forum Scholarship from Abraham Baldwin College. The scholarship will cover full tuition and fees for two semesters.

Copeland, who has attended Post-Secondary Option (PSO) classes at ABAC since the fall of 2002, will graduate from Tift County High School this month. She will enroll as a full-time ABAC student this summer, majoring in political science. Copeland is the daughter of Gerard and Kim Ascani and Joey and Renee Copeland. Kim is ABAC’s Interim Coordinator of the Academic Assistance Center (AAC).

In high school, Copeland was a member of the Beta Club and the French Honor Society. She was also a participant in the Governor’s Honors Program and will graduate with honors.

ABAC Staff Forum Scholarships are awarded to a dependent of an ABAC staff member

who has applied for admission to ABAC and plans to enroll full time toward a degree or certificate. Recipients must have at least a 2.0 high school grade point average as determined by the ABAC Admissions Office.
