SCIENCE FAIR HELD FEBRUARY 21

The Division of Science and Mathematics at Abraham Baldwin College sponsored the Regional Science and Engineering Fair on Feb. 21 in Thrash Gym.

Participants included 84 students, grades six through twelve, from three counties in Southwest Georgia. Student projects were entered into one of 13 different classifications, such as Behavior & Social Sciences, Engineering, Botany, Computer Science, and Environmental Sciences.

An Awards Ceremony was held at 3:30 p.m. in the Cordell Conference Room of the Carlton Center. Twenty students qualified to attend the Georgia Engineering and Science Fair (GSEF) to be held at the University of Georgia in Athens on April 3 - 5. Trophies, ribbons, and several special awards were also given.
