WELCOMES NEW FACULTY AND STAFF

The start of the
fall semester spells change for 32 new faculty and staff members at
The Division of Humanities welcomed Maria Cahill, Instructor of English; Robert Carpenter, Instructor of Spanish; Elizabeth Cranford, Temporary Full-Time Instructor of English; Keith Perry, Instructor of Speech Communication; and Michael R. Williams, Temporary Full-Time Instructor of English.
The Division of Nursing and Health Services has added Troy Spicer, Assistant Professor and Nurse Practitioner; Robin Crumley and Dana Simons, Full-Time Temporary Clinical Instructors/Lab Assistants; and Reba Selph, Senior Secretary, to its faculty and staff.
Dr. Albert Kress, Full-Time Temporary Assistant Professor of Chemistry, and Dr. Barnabe “Barry” Miburo, Associate Professor of Chemistry, have joined the Division of Science and Mathematics. Ran Fredell, Instructor of Mathematics, joined the ABAC faculty in January 2003.
The Division of Agriculture and Forest Resources welcomed Larry (Todd) Hicks, Temporary Full-Time Instructor of Ag Engineering.
Richard Pye, Temporary Full-Time Instructor of Information Technology, has joined ABAC=s Division of Business Administration.
The Division of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation welcomed Todd Sheppard, Assistant Professor and Men’s Basketball Coach.
James Galt-Brown, Assistant Professor of History; Mouyyed Hassouna, Assistant Professor of Political Science; and Andrew Wright, Full-Time Temporary Instructor of History; have joined the Division of Social Science.
The CAMP/HEP Program (College Assistance Migrant Program/High School Equivalency Program) welcomed Javier Gonzalez, Director of CAMP/HEP; Marisol Medina, Part-Time Secretary of CAMP/HEP; and Jokabeth Villalobos, Full-Time HEP Spanish Instructor.
Judy McFarland joined GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness & Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) as Program Specialist.
Student and Enrollment Services welcomed Lois Harper, Senior Secretary of Student Life and Housing, and Njeri Pringle, Director of Mitchell Hall.
Debbie Cagle, Senior Secretary at ABAC on the Square in Moultrie, and Melanie Johnson, Part-Time Teaching Assistant at ABAC on the Square, have joined ABAC’s Evening and Off-Campus Program.
Johnny Sumner has joined Fiscal and Physical Affairs as a Public Safety Officer.
OITS (Office of Information Technology and Services) welcomed Billy (BJ) Rathburn, Computer Services Specialist I.
Position changes at ABAC effective for the fall semester include the following:
Dr. Susan Roe, former Temporary Full-Time
Instructor of Music, is now Assistant
Professor of Voice.
Dr. Gail Dillard, former Professor of English in ABAC=s Division of Humanities, is now Director of ABAC’s Evening and Off-Campus Program.
Traci Bryan is
the new Financial Aid Counselor. She previously served as a Recruiter in
the Admissions Office and as a Program Coordinator in the
Sandra Giles has returned from educational leave and will resume her duties as Assistant Professor of English in the Division of Humanities.
