ABAC
SPONSORS LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
The Humanities Division at Abraham Baldwin
College is sponsoring a photography contest focusing on southern landscapes. The
deadline for submissions is Oct. 21.
The
contest is open to ABAC students, faculty, and staff. Each contestant must
complete an entry form, which is available in Room 1 of King Hall. A maximum of
five photographs may be submitted for consideration. Photographs may be black
and white or color and must depict southern landscapes.
Entries
must be suitable for exhibition on the Walker Display System. According to this
system, framed photographs must have wires attached for hanging. Photographs
not framed must be matted or mounted professionally on foam-core. All works
must be original and created within the last five years.
The
following information must be included on the back of the photograph(s): name,
address, phone number, title, and date created. All photos must be submitted to
Room 1 in King Hall by Oct. 21.
“This
photography contest will provide an opportunity for ABAC students, faculty, and
staff to explore their creative side by taking and submitting photographs of
their southern surroundings,” Sheila Hughes, Assistant Professor of
Communication and Director of Forensics at ABAC, said.
