ABAC'S SUMMER TERM SHOWS HIGHEST ENROLLMENT

          Figures recently released by the Registrar's Office at Abraham Baldwin College showed a 2002 summer term enrollment of 1,349 students, an increase of 16.1 percent over the 2001 summer term. This figure represents the highest summer enrollment in the history of ABAC.

          The Equivalent Full-Time (EFT) enrollment for Summer 2002 was 574, a 13.4 percent increase from the EFT enrollment for Summer 2001. The EFT enrollment figure represents the number of students carrying 12 or more hours.

          The report indicated that female enrollment was 62.6 percent. A total of 97 percent of the students enrolled were Georgia residents. During the summer term, 12 international students were enrolled, in addition to 29 students from states other than Georgia.
