Harrell and Nascimento were two of 49 students selected for Who's Who at ABAC by a student-faculty committee. To be eligible for nomination, students must have completed at least 35 semester hours at ABAC with at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. From that list, the students at ABAC voted for Mr. and Ms. Baldwin.
Harrell, a business administration major from Columbus, is the captain of the men's basketball team and a resident assistant in Mitchell Hall. He is a mentor/coach for the ABAC Stallions and Fillies basketball camps for children ages six - sixteen. Harrell is also a counselor for the Post-Secondary Readiness Enrichment Program (PREP) students during the summer.
Nascimento, a business major from Americus, is the Student Government Association (SGA) Parliamentarian and a member of the Concert Choir and the Concert Band. She served as the College Assistant Migrant Program (CAMP) President in 2001. She also participated in the Miss Minority Academic Social Development Association (MASDA) Pageant.
