Patsy G. Williams, senior secretary in the Baldwin Library, and Charles Turner, a custodian in the Physical Plant, each received 30-year service plaques. Williams is retiring this year.
Employees who received 20-year service plaques were John W. Tanner, a groundskeeper at the Physical Plant; Thomas B. Call, Registrar; John David Cowart, an associate professor in the Division of Science and Mathematics; Nancy M. Scott, an assistant professor in the Division of Business Administration; and Shirlene Sears, senior secretary for the Police Academy. Cowart is retiring this year.
Kip E. Hall, an assistant professor in the Division of Agriculture and Forest Resources; Anita H. Hobbs, office manager in the Admissions Office; Bruce A. Applewhite, admissions counselor; and Pamela R. Leonard, administrative secretary in the Public Relations Office, received 15-year service certificates.
Receiving 10-year service certificates were Marsha C. Anderson, transfer specialist for the TRIO Program/MAP; Bertha B. Daniel, Interim Director of College Services; Lorie M. Felton, an assistant professor in the Division of Agriculture and Forest Resources; Dr. Jeff D. Gibbs, Division Chair in the Division of Business Administration; Dr. Oscar Patton, an associate professor in the Division of Humanities; Dr. Jeff Seela, an associate professor in the Division of Science and Mathematics; Joy B. Shurley, an assistant professor in the Division of Science and Mathematics; Dr. Douglas D. Waid, an associate professor in the Division of Agriculture and Forest Resources; and James M. Weeks, an associate professor in the Division of Science and Mathematics.
Five-year service certificates were presented to Gina Victoria Wilson and, Ramonda F. Holton, senior secretaries in the Registrar's Office; Frank M. Landers, a locksmith at the Physical Plant; Michelle S. Barton, admissions specialist; Garvie Nichols, Jr., ag lab coordinator in the Division of Agriculture and Forest Resources; Dr. John Settimi, assistant professor in the Division of Agriculture and Forest Resources; and Trina M. Jones, library technical assistant/public services.
Other recipients of five-year service certificates included John B. Davis, III, public safety officer; Joyce Ann Willis, senior secretary for Alumni Relations; Angela D. Rutland, assistant registrar; Kimberly K. Hockensmith, admissions specialist; and Leonard L. Smith, training coordinator for the Police Academy.
