The EFT (Equivalent Full-Time) enrollment for Fall 2001 is 2,125, a 10.7 percent increase from the EFT enrollment for Fall 2000. The EFT enrollment figure represents the number of students carrying 12 or more hours.
"This all-time high enrollment mark is a clear indication that ABAC continues to meet the needs of students from throughout Georgia," ABAC President Mike Vollmer said. "With the current initiatives to modernize our facilities and further expand our programs, the future of ABAC is very bright."
The recent report reflects an almost even division in gender at the college, with female enrollment at 52.3 percent. A total of 94 percent of ABAC students are Georgia residents. During the fall semester, 31 international students are enrolled, in addition to 144 students from states other than Georgia.
Applications are now being accepted for the spring semester, which begins Jan. 7. For additional information, contact the Admissions Office at 1-800-733-3653 or visit the ABAC web site at www.abac.edu.
