SNOW WINS ABAC BEAUTY REVUE

          Mary Jane Snow, a freshman psychology major from Tifton, was selected as the winner of the 33rd annual ABAC Beauty Revue at Abraham Baldwin College. Snow is the daughter of Buddy and Delores Snow of Tifton.

          Other finalists were Shanna Boyett, a freshman agricultural marketing major from Reidsville; Lisa Marie Johnson, a freshman pharmacy major from Tifton; Delecta Morrison, a sophomore pre-dentistry major from Tifton; and Laurie Elizabeth Smith, a freshman interior design major from Tifton.

          Claudea Paul, a sophomore biology major from Douglas, won the Essay Award, and Maricel Dizon, a freshman computer science major from Montezuma, received the Contestants' Award among the 46 participants in the event. The Revue was sponsored by the ABAC Ambassadors.

          Snow was sponsored by the ABAC Public Relations Office. She is a senator in the Student Government Association, an ABAC Ambassador, and a Discipleship Group Leader at First Baptist Church.

          At Tift County High School, she was a superior honor student, a member of the 1100 Club, and a Governor's Honors Finalist. She was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students and received the International Foreign Language Award and the Georgia Certificate of Merit.

          Snow was also on the Executive Board of the Beta Club, a member of the Eighth Street Singing Company, and on the newspaper staff.
