The schedule for the forums is as follows: Oct. 2 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the Carlton Center Cordell Conference Room A; Oct. 3 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in Cordell Conference Room A; Oct. 4 from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the Student Courtroom in the J. Lamar Branch Student Center; Oct. 10 from 8 - 9 a.m. in the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce Civic Room; and Oct 10 from 7 - 8 p.m. in Cordell Conference Room A. Please note that the forum on Oct. 10 in the Chamber of Commerce Civic Room is a breakfast meeting. Those interested in attending must RSVP to the Chamber at (229) 382-6200.
Dr. Chrystle Ross, Chair, Presidential Search and Advisory Committee, said the forums are a good opportunity for an expression of views on the type of president ABAC should select.
"People in the community want to know what is happening regarding the selection process, and this is a chance for them to be heard," Ross said. "The discussions will serve as input to the committee as it drafts the job announcement."
