Tuesday=s concert represents the culmination of a concert series which began on Sunday in Americus and continues tonight in the Darton College Theater.

During each event the three choirs will perform a set of seven pieces by American composer Randall Thompson, known as Frostiana.  The pieces are a collection of poems by American poet laureate Robert Frost.  They will also sing a set of three spirituals arranged by Moses Hogan, including Little David,  Play on Your Harp; Hear My Prayer; and Ride On, King Jesus.  The concerts will conclude with the rousing Battle Hymn of the Republic arranged by Peter Wilhousky.

In Tuesday=s event, the ABAC Concert Choir will also perform Daemon Irrepit Callidus by Hungarian composer Gyorgy Orban, Psalm 150 by Brazilian composer Ernani Aguiar, and Crn-Bel or Black/White - the song of the Grasshopper by Croatian composer and conductor Igor Kuljeric.
