Photography Begins January 15
A Photography Certificate Program is now available at ABAC. Classes begin Jan. 15 and run through April.
This 42-hour program includes the following classes: Fundamentals of Photography, Photographic Techniques, Photographing Nature, Photojournalism, Portrait Photography, and Black and White Photography. The program will provide progressive instruction in the mechanics and techniques of photography while helping students develop their own personal photographic style.
Participants may enroll in any course independently or complete the series to earn the certificate. A basic understanding of the fundamentals of photography is required for the advanced level courses. Students must supply their own camera and film.
The fee for the complete series is $399. In order to earn the Photography Certificate, a student must complete the entire series of courses, attending at least 75 percent of each class. For information, contact the Public Service and Business Outreach Center at 3267.
The first class in the series, Fundamentals of Photography, will meet two Tuesdays and one
Thursday, Jan. 15 - 22, from 6 - 8 p.m. in Room 323 in Conger Hall. The fee is $69.

Notes of Thanks
Faculty & Staff,
Thank you for the beautiful basket of flowers and the cards you sent following my surgery. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. It's great to be part of such a caring "family." Thanks again.
Sincerely, Jean Hightower
A special thank you to members of the ABAC Family for all the notes, cards, calls, and expressions of sympathy in the death of my brother-in-law, Franklin Purvis. It is never easy saying "goodbye" to a family member or friend, but knowing others cared and shared their concern with me was of great comfort. Thanks to all!
Hazel Purvis
