When Ocilla native Zachary Miller decided to attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, it wasn’t due to the small class sizes, the close proximity to home, or the reputation of the college’s faculty and staff that drew him in initially. It was simply a feeling.
“I felt that I could be successful here, as well as achieve the best with the abilities I have,” said Miller.
Other characteristics about the college strengthened the engineering major’s opinion of the college once he began taking classes. He says the people and the administration of the college and their effect on the campus atmosphere is now what he likes best about ABAC.
Miller has been active in the AET Club and is also a member of the ABAC Ambassadors. While here, he has learned that he is capable as a person and that his abilities can sometimes mean even more to others.
After ABAC, Miller plans to further himself academically while finding out exactly his place in life. His favorite quote is “Time will tell.”
