Brandi Marché Bishop, an Agricultural Education
major from Pike County, chose ABAC in the sixth grade.
“After visiting
the ABAC booth at the FFA convention in the sixth grade, I knew that ABAC
was the college for me,” Bishop said. “I went on tours and fell in love with
the historical campus in a small town; it has been a home away from home.”
She enjoys being
involved in the ABAC Ambassadors, Agricultural Engineering Technology and
collegiate FFA.
“The best thing
about attending ABAC is the small class size and friendly atmosphere,”
Bishop said. “You can’t walk around campus without getting a smile and hello
from everyone you pass.”
After finishing
her studies at ABAC, Bishop plans to transfer to UGA Tifton campus to obtain
her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences. After that she hopes to earn
a master’s and eventually teach Agricultural education.
Bishop’s favorite quote is by Babe Ruth “Don’t let the fear
of striking out keep you from playing the game”.
