Ashton Harper, a junior Rural Studies major from Ocilla, is
looking forward to a great fall semester at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural
College.
“I am excited about being a part of an innovative new degree like
Rural Studies,” Harper said. “Since beginning at ABAC three years ago I have
been looking for a way to get a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia’s State
College of Choice.”
Harper says that the small class sizes and open door policy of the
professors make ABAC a great place to get an education. He has made the most
of his time here at ABAC by being involved on campus including a year as
president of the Ambassadors. Harper also enjoys competing in ABAC
intramural sports such as flag football and softball.
“Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift
back to God” by Leo Buscaglia is Harper’s favorite quote.
