Named Among America’s Most Affordable Colleges
TIFTON –Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College was named among the U.S. Department of Education’s most affordable colleges. Six other public colleges in Georgia have been named among the list.
The list by the U.S. Department of Education's College Affordability and Transparency Center features information about costs at schools across the country.
"This list supports what we have always said," said ABAC President David Bridges. "ABAC offers a quality education at a low cost. Our small class sizes and the hands-on education provide students a successful learning environment."
Tuition and fees for the 2009-10 school year at ABAC came to $2,696, well below the national average of $6,397.
Six other Georgia colleges on the list are: College of Coastal Georgia, Macon State College, Dalton State College, Gainesville State College, Gordon College, and Middle Georgia College.
