Horticulture
Career Day to Include All of Agriculture
TIFTON—An
Agriculture Career Day at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will be held
Nov. 17 in the Agricultural Sciences building on the north end of the ABAC
campus. Set up will take place from 9 – 10 a.m., and the event will run from 10
a.m. – 2 p.m.
The
purpose of this job fair is to facilitate the development of relationships
between employers and the ABAC faculty, staff, and students; recruit future
interns and employees; enhance exposure to and increase visibility of the
school’s programs; and promote agribusiness and green industry issues and
opportunities to ABAC students.
In
past years, the event had been devoted to Horticulture and the “Green
Industry.”
