Seminar
On Brazil November 18
TIFTON - A
seminar focusing on the country of Brazil will be held at Abraham Baldwin
Agricultural College on Nov. 18 in the Health Sciences Building, Room 237 from
3 – 4 p.m. It will be presented by Dr.
Jeff Gibbs, Dr. Brian Ray, Lorie Felton, Alan Kramer and Becky Martin. The seminar is open to anyone who would like
to attend at no charge.
The
five faculty members, as well as 10 other Georgia educators, spent a month in
the summer of 2009 studying Brazil’s culture and history while meeting with
some of its government officials, educators, and the country’s local
citizens.
The
trip was a result of a Fulbright-Hays Grant from the United States Department
of Education Office of International Education.
