ABAC OFFERS THREE GREAT TRIPS IN
2010
TIFTON
– The Public Service and Business Outreach Center (PSBOC) at Abraham Baldwin
Agricultural College will offer three fabulous trips in the upcoming year.
Travel opportunities include exotic Costa Rica, sunny California and the
Pacific Northwest, and historic New England.
Tropical
Costa Rica is a nine-day trip through lush forests, majestic waterfalls, and
endless other natural wonders the country has to offer. Travel dates are March
17 – 25, 2010. Once in the country, travelers will begin and end their journey
in the capital city of San Jose, with a number of stops in between. The cost of this trip is $2, 449 for double
occupancy, $3,149 for single occupancy and $2, 419 for triple occupancy.
On
June 26 – July 3, 2010, travelers can discover the wonders that California and
the Pacific Northwest have to offer.
Sightseers will take in San Francisco, Napa Valley, Pebble Beach, and
the famous towering trees of the Redwood National Forest. Participants will also travel Oregon’s Rogue
River, see the Columbia River Gorge, and visit Mount St. Helens. The double
occupancy cost is $2, 099, and single occupancy is $2, 599.
An
autumn in New England trip will take place Sept. 29 – Oct. 9, 2010 with great
destinations including the White and Green Mountains of Vermont, New Hampshire,
the coastline of Maine, and historical Boston and Newport. Other points of interest will be a tour of
Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Shop, an overnight stay at the Foxwoods Resort, and
of course a look at the beautiful foliage of the fall. Single occupancy for
this trip is $2, 799, and double occupancy is $2,199.
